Child safety

@ohpinion is not for children under 14. This page explains the age rule, teen protections, and how to report exploitation. It matches the Terms and Community Guidelines in the app.

Minimum age

Registration asks for a date of birth. Anyone under 14 cannot create an account. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 14, we remove it.

Teen accounts (14–17)

These accounts receive enhanced privacy protections automatically, including stricter discoverability defaults. Date of birth is used only to apply that rule. It is not shown on the public profile as a birth date.

Prohibited conduct

• Sexual content involving anyone under 18, including child sexual abuse material, is not allowed.
• Adults must not solicit, groom, or exploit minors on @ohpinion.
• This content is removed. Child sexual abuse material is reported to the relevant authorities.

How we reduce harm

Images are checked by automated moderation before they are public, and people can report a post, Spill, comment, or profile in the app. Administrators review reports.

How to report

Use the in-app report action, or email safety@ohpinion.app with the username and a description. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Parents or guardians who believe a child under 14 has an account should email privacy@ohpinion.app so we can delete it. See Delete your account.
